Si è parlato di un dispositivo Microsoft dotato di uno schermo pieghevole con supporto per Windows Ink, capace di fungere sia da tablet che da smartphone. Intorno a tale prodotto, che potrebbe chiamarsi Surface Phone, aleggia proprio Andromeda. L'obiettivo però è quello di proporre Andromeda OS, quindi una versione di Windows 10 davvero modulare, anche e soprattutto ai produttori partner di Microsoft.
